Grome is a program that enables you to make and edit large terrain areas. It offers you snap tools that you can use to create neighbor zones with automatic border stitching even for different resolutions, real-time rendering using industry standard OpenGL API, multiple layers of heightmaps that can be used to separately operate on distinct terrain geometrical features.
